Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

Welcome to VowelnVault! These terms are intentionally short and written in plain language. By playing VowelnVault you agree to them — and honestly, they mostly boil down to "play fair and be kind."

The price

Free to play

VowelnVault is free. Play without an account — no subscriptions and no paywalled features. Optional sign-in only syncs your streaks across devices. Ad placements, when present, are kept well away from the game area so they never interfere with play.

The fine print

Provided "as is"

VowelnVault is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard to keep puzzles, statistics and the solver accurate, but we can't guarantee the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or perfectly timed for midnight in every time zone. Your stats live in your browser, so please don't rely on VowelnVault as a data-backup service.

Conduct

Play fair

Please don't abuse the service. That means no automated scraping or bot traffic, no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the site, and no reselling it as your own. Sharing your results with friends is encouraged — that's half the fun.

Ownership

Our content

The VowelnVault name, logo, design, word lists and code are the property of VowelnVault. You may not copy or redistribute them to launch a competing clone. VowelnVault is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any other word game.

Updates

Changes

VowelnVault is actively developed, so features, word lists and these terms may change over time. If we make a significant change to the terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued play after a change means you accept the updated terms.

The spirit

Governing courtesy

The only rule that really matters: be kind. Don't spoil the daily word for people who haven't played yet, be gracious about other people's streaks, and remember it's a puzzle, not a court of law. Any disputes will first be settled with courtesy — and, if absolutely necessary, a best-of-three unlimited match.
